Al Shaqab Seventh Annual Auction For Arabian Horses

AL SHAQAB will be hosting its 7th Annual Horse Auction on Friday, 7 October 2016.

 32 horses, pedigrees of the most famous Arabian horses which had won awards in numerous international and regional competitions, will be presented at the auction which starts at 3:30 pm at Al Shaqab. This auction, however, is distinctly different from previous auctions as all proceeds will be donated to ROTA (Reach Out to Asia). Faisal Al Rahmani, one of the best horse auction organizers in the Arab World, will be conducting the auction of Al Shaqab’s horses.

Members of the public and equestrian enthusiasts who wish to view the horses to be auctioned are welcomed to visit Al Shaqab on Wednesday & Thursday, 5 & 6 October 2016, between 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Entry to Al Shaqab will be from Gate 8.
His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, founded AL SHAQAB in 1992 to preserve and further develop the Arabian horse in Qatar. Al Shaqab’s vision is to build on Qatar’s heritage with the Arabian horse to be a leading global center for equine professionals and provide an engaging experience for the community.
