Equine Education Programs - Ramadan 2025 Timings

Pony Rides (Ages 3-5) [Ramadan 2025]

This program is a game-based introduction to horse riding for children. It develops the children’s balance, coordination and encourages them to feel comfortable around horses.

Total classes per month: 8 classes. Each riding session is 30 minutes long.

Class Days: Saturday and Wednesday / Sunday and Tuesday / Monday and Thursday

Class timings: 3:15 PM – 3:45 PM / 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM / 4:45 PM – 5:15 PM / 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM / 9:15 PM – 9:45 PM

Monthly fees: QR 1,500

Youth Riding Academy (Ages 6-18) [Ramadan 2025]

This program comprises of 12 riding lessons per month in groups. Each riding lesson is 45 minutes long.

Class timings: 3:30 PM to 4:15 PM / 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM / 8:30 PM to 9:15 PM / 9:30 PM to 10:15 PM / 10:30 PM to 11:15 PM

Monthly fees: QR 3,000

Ladies-Only Classes (Ages 14+) [Ramadan 2025]

Ladies can now register for ladies only riding classes in a private indoor arena. This program is for ladies aged 14 years old and above.

Students receive 12 riding lessons per month in groups. Each lesson is 45-minutes long.

Class timings: Afternoon 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM / 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM / 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM / 8:00 PM to 8:45 PM / 9:30 PM to 9:45 PM

Monthly fees: QR 4,200

Adult Group Classes (Ages 18+) [Ramadan 2025]

Students above 18 years receive 12 riding lessons per month in groups. Each lesson is 45-minutes long.

Class timings: 3:30 PM to 4:15 PM / 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM / 8:30 PM to 9:15 PM / 9:30 PM to 10:15 PM / 10:30 PM to 11:15 PM

Monthly fees: QR 3,000

One-Time Riding Classes [Ramadan 2025]

This one-time riding session is intended to introduce riding before applying for the monthly Riding Academy Program.

Class Days: From Saturday to Thursday, for 45 minutes.

Class timings: 3:30 PM to 4:15 PM / 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM / 8:30 PM to 9:15 PM / 9:30 PM to 10:15 PM / 10:30 PM to 11:15 PM

Fees: QAR 350 Fees must be paid in full at registration and are non-refundable & non-transferable.

Equine Assisted Therapy - Program For Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder [Ramadan 2025]

The Equine Assisted Therapy Program is a specialized program for children with autism spectrum disorder. Children who participate in equine assisted therapy experience improvements in social interactions, communication, motor skills, positive emotions and their ability to manage stress. Al Shaqab is currently offering Therapeutic Riding and Stable Management activities combined in 45- minutes sessions.

Equine Therapy sessions: SAT-WED / SUN-TUE / MON-THU.

Fees: QAR 1000 / month (for 8 classes).

Classes Timing: 2:30 PM - 3:15 PM / 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM / 4:30 PM - 5:15 PM / 8:00 PM - 8:45 PM / 9:00 PM – 09:45 PM.

Age group: 3-12 years old

Applicants will be called for assessment before accepting the application.
