Rashid Ali Al-Mansoori

Mr. Rashid Ali Al-Mansoori is currently a Board member and CEO of Qatar Exchange and also a Board member of the Qatar Financial Center (QFC).    

He previously served as a board member in several sports organizations and dedicated a lot of his efforts in this field when he headed many committees in the Qatari Olympic committee and assumed several leading positions including the President of the Qatar Equestrian Federation and Vice President of the Qatar Fencing Federation and member of the Statistics and Information committee in the Asian Olympic Council.

Mr. Al Mansoori participated in organizing several sports tournaments, the most important of which are the West Asian Games and the Asian Games held in Doha, Qatar 2005 and 2006.   

He assumed the position of the IT Director at Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) where he was responsible for establishing the IT Department and setting investment and financial system applications. He also served as IT Director at Qatar Olympics Committee and Head of Applied Systems at the Ministry of Interior. He previously worked in various financial positions in the Refining Department of Qatar Petroleum.

Mr. Al-Mansoori holds a BSc degree in Computer and Management Sciences (USA 1987). He has specialized expertise in the fields of administration, IT and financial services, not to mention his vigorous role in the sports field, where he served as President of the Qatar Equestrian Federation and Vice President of the Qatar Fencing Federation.
