Haidan, Al Ghazali shine on day one as round 5 begins

THE national equestrian series Hathab initiated by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al Thani, President, Qatar Olympic Committee, provides for a great platform and competition for showjumping and dressage riders in Qatar. The national championship which was a runaway success in its inaugural year 2017-18, has an ideal points system and keen competition, according to the chairman of the referees’ committee Nasser al Hajri.

Opining on Hathab, he said, “The first edition threw up great contests and we hope that the second edition will see more competition. We are likely to see more promising and upcoming riders which will also help the development and expansion of the base of participation.”

MUBARAK Yousuf al Rumaihi provided himself and his team a robust start on the opening day of Hathab’s second season at the indoor arena of Qatar Equestrian Federation on Friday.
