Jeel Establishment has thrilled equine sports enthusiasts at the 2016 edition of AL SHAQAB International Equestrian Competition through a series of activities and art exhibitions that celebrate Qatar's rich heritage in equine culture and sport.

Visitors to the event are flocking to the Jeel Zone, where Qatari artists are participating in live painting sessions and showcasing ancient photographs, artwork, antiques and magazines depicting the history and evolution of equestrian sports. Jeel is also organising daily a series of arts and crafts workshops throughout the duration of the competition.

Although Jeel Establishment has only been operating since last October, it has already organised an array of exciting events such as festivals, exhibitions, workshops and training programmes aimed at empowering locals to further contribute to the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The Establishment’s activities target all age groups, providing an opportunity for all members of the community to participate in its innovative events in Qatar, and also internationally, to build long-term partnerships with a variety of stakeholders and encourage teamwork.

The Establishment embraces values that encourage innovative thinking and confidence-building, enabling its team members to build on their success and continually seek to improve the quality of their work.

Jeel’s action plan for 2016 embodies high professional values, and is a first of its kind when it comes to delivering community work and ensuring profitability at the operational level, both in Qatar and abroad.

Jeel Establishment may be less than six months old, but its resounding success so far suggests that it has a long and prosperous future ahead.
