    ABOUT BREEDING

    His Highness The Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani established Al Shaqab in 1992 to enjoy his passion for Arabian horses, to honor the courageous war horses ridden by victorious Qatari knights of the past, and to assure the Arabian horse would continue to play a leading role in the cultural heritage of the Qatari people.

Join us in raising awareness for autism in an event by Qatar Foundation and Al-Shaqab. Let’s unite, celebrate our differences, and work toward shaping a more inclusive world. The event will take place on Saturday 27 April 2024 from 10:00-3:00 pm at the Longines Indoor Arena.

 

The event will include a variety of activities that are suitable for families. It is organized by QF’s Special Schools and SEN (Special Education Needs) Services that include Renad Academy, Awsaj Academy, The Learning Centre, and Ability Friendly, in collaboration with Al-Shaqab and our community partners.

 

Everyone is welcome to attend this wonderful celebration! Please find the activities that you'll be able to enjoy below:
