Robert Husken, a freelance sports journalist from the Netherlands, expressed his amazement at the event and facilities saying, “I have to say that I am absolutely amazed at the ultra-modern equestrian facilities here at Al Shaqab. I have covered high profile equestrian events Aachen, Germany which is meant to be the best in the world, but this equestrian stadium is nothing short of phenomenal.”
