The second edition of the championship is being held in partnership with Al Shaqab. The championship consists of 12 rounds, the last of which takes place in April.

The second edition of the championship is being held in partnership with Al Shaqab. The championship consists of 12 rounds, the last of which takes place in April.

Hathab was first held based on the directives of President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al Thani with the aim of promoting equestrian sport in the society. A large number of riders participate in the competition. Companies and institutions are also getting the opportunity to sponsor talents. The championship has five age categories, the youngest of which is 6-12 years old.

SALMEEN Sultan al Suwaidi, who has been challenging the top finishing riders in the ongoing national equestrian series Hathab, finally proved his potential bagging the Big Tour top title of the sixth leg of the series at the Qatar Equestrian Federation on Saturday.
