Nasser Bin Khaled Official Car Transport for CHI AL SHAQAB 2016

Doha-Qatar; February 24, 2016: Nasser Bin Khaled Holding (NBK), Qatar’s leading business conglomerate, will be the Official Car Transport Partner for the upcoming fourth CHI AL SHAQAB edition, which will take place at the xxx from 2nd - to March 5th, 2016.

The announcement was marked with a signing ceremony which took place at the NBK Holding headquarters in the presence of Sheikh Nawaf Nasser Bin Khaled Chairman & CEO of NBK Holding and attended by Mr. Fahad Al Qahtani-CHI AL SHAQAB Event President & AL SHAQAB Executive Director - QF Group Executive Director Administration and Mr. Omar Al Mannai -CHI AL SHAQAB Event Director & AL SHAQAB Commercial Manager.

NBK will have 75 dazzling Mercedes-Benz vehicles lined up for the star-studded event adding comfort and class to the transportation solutions for officials and riders.

On the occasion, Sheikh Nawaf Nasser Bin Khaled said: “Under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar has been developing and progressing. This sponsorship is in-line with NBK’s effort to be a vanguard of sports in Qatar having strongly invested to promote national sports happenings and home-grown initiatives since inception.

The CHI AL SHAQAB is one of only four worldwide competition of this kind, and the only one in Asia. Top 30 world-ranking riders will participate to compete during the event’s duration with an initial estimate of 200 horses in all disciplines.

The event is open to the public. In addition to the equestrian competitions, there will be a range of family-friendly activities and entertainment at the festival zone. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a wealth of variety in food and beverages, pony rides, horse carriage rides, a nursery and other fun activities for all ages.
