New Achievement for Al Shaqab Horses at the Global Champions Arabians Tour in the Netherlands

Valkenswaard, Netherlands – The colt Afrein Al Shaqab, owned by Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation, won the gold medal in the yearling colt category at the Valkenswaard event in the Netherlands, which was part of the Global Champions Arabians Tour. Afrein Al Shaqab secured first place by surpassing De Barkan, owned by Al Baraka Stud, which won the silver medal, and Azzam Al Amal, in Azzam Al Amal Partnership.

Al Shaqab, renowned for its global leadership in equestrian sports, participated with an impressive group of Global Champions Arabians Tour. The spectacular results at the show were a clear indication of Al Shaqab's commitment to the highest standards in breeding and producing high-quality Arabian horses. The filly Tih Al Shaqab won the bronze medal in the filly category, and Ijana won the bronze medal in the mare category.

The Global Champions Arabians Tour 2024 commenced in Qatar as its first stop, with subsequent locations including Abu Dhabi, Muscat, France, the Netherlands, Rome, and concluding in Riyadh.
